The 88th Great Atatürk Run, organized to mark the 104th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Ankara, took place with the participation of approximately 2 thousand people despite the cold and rainy weather.

The 88th Great Atatürk Run, organized to mark the 104th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Ankara, has concluded. Nursena Çeto finished first in the women's category, while Bahattin Üney took first place in the men's category.
The race began under heavy rain and finished at the Anıttepe Sports Facilities. In the women's category, Nursena Çeto took first place, Pınar Demir second, and Hasibe Demir third. In the men's category, first place went to Bahattin Üney, second to Ramazan Özdemir, and third to Abdurrahman Gediklioğlu. Various prizes were awarded to the athletes who completed the race, with 18 thousand TL awarded to the winners, 16 thousand TL to the runners-up, and 14 thousand TL to the third-place finishers.
MARTYRS WERE NOT FORGOTTEN
Participants joined the race from across Turkey and 5 different countries. Turkish Athletics Federation President Fatih Çintimar thanked the athletes, emphasizing that the run was also held in the name of the martyrs and the oppressed in Gaza.
