An administrative investigation launched by the Ministry of Family and Social Services into the death of a 9-year-old child at a rehabilitation center in Niğde, who allegedly died as a result of violence, is ongoing, and the facility's staff have been suspended.

An administrative investigation was launched by the Ministry of Family and Social Services following allegations that a 9-year-old child staying at the Barrier-Free Life and Care Rehabilitation Center in Niğde lost their life as a result of violence.
According to the information obtained, upon the instructions of the Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the facility staff alleged to have been negligent have been suspended to ensure that the administrative investigation is conducted meticulously and proceeds effectively.
The Ministry has filed a criminal complaint for the matter to be investigated in depth. It was learned that the judicial investigation initiated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following the application by the Ministry of Family and Social Services is also ongoing.
