'A journalist brings the world to our feet': Heroes Without Capes hits the shelves

The book "Heroes Without Capes," written by Hatice Dökmen and Erdal Bila, brings together unforgettable names in journalism and the memories they experienced. "Heroes Without Capes" has now hit the shelves in all bookstores. 

The book contains a memory from each of 66 journalists. Prepared in a narrative style, the book encompasses a wealth of lived experiences. 

Published by Destek Yayınları, the book includes the stories of esteemed figures who lost their lives for the sake of journalism, such as Uğur Mumcu, Hrant Dink, Metin Göktepe, Çetin Emeç, Hafız Akdemir, and Kutlu Adalı.

The launch of the "Heroes Without Capes" book will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Istanbul at the Caddebostan Cultural Center (CKM) with discussions starting at 14.00.
