A new name joins the 12punto writing staff: Prof. Dr. Nurettin Demir

Prof. Dr. Nurettin Demir has made significant contributions to the healthcare system by establishing Turkey's first "Information Processing and Hospital Automation System".

Having earned the title of associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989, Demir received the title of professor at Harran University Faculty of Medicine in 2000.

Furthermore, he pioneered developments in this field by undertaking the founding of İzmir's first private in vitro fertilization center in 1998.

Appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Muğla University Faculty of Medicine in 2008, Demir was appointed as the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in 2009.
