A TOGG WAS ALSO PURCHASED

Naci İnci had announced in September 2023 that they had purchased a TOGG TX10 as an official vehicle.

Making a statement on the subject via his Twitter account, İnci said, "We have taken delivery of the TOGG TX10, our university's new official vehicle. I wish for Turkey's first domestic and national automobile, our pride TOGG, to be beneficial to Boğaziçi University."

Boğaziçi University had rented 33 vehicles, 16 of which were passenger cars, for 5.8 million liras in a tender held in March 2023. The university administration signed a new contract last month under the name of 'personnel transport and vehicle rental' for 39.1 million liras, but the technical specifications of the tender were not published. For this reason, it is unknown how many vehicles were rented.

The administration also held another tender today under the same name, shortly after last month's tender.

The result of the tender in question has not yet been announced.

Boğaziçi University has recently been granting positions to individuals who have served as high-level administrators in AKP municipalities.

For example, Nihat Mutlu, who served as deputy mayor at Beykoz Municipality during the AKP era, was appointed as the Head of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Boğaziçi University, and another deputy mayor, Engin Köklü, was brought in as the head of the university's construction and technical works department. Beykoz Municipality had passed from the AKP to the CHP in the March 31 elections.

Ramazan Kesik, who began working at İSKİ during the AKP era, was also appointed as the Head of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.

Vahap Doğan, a former member of the Ensar Foundation board of trustees who served as deputy mayor in the AKP-run Pendik Municipality between 2019 and 2024, was appointed as deputy general secretary.

The individuals in other positions also consist of people close to the administration.
