AA and pro-government media list 'irregularities' of İmamoğlu Construction!
Audit reports have been published regarding a construction company co-owned by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is being accused of corruption. The 'irregularities' reported by pro-government media include statements such as, 'The width of the terrace was reduced from 350 centimeters to 290 centimeters.'

IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu’s construction company, in which he is a partner, has had audit reports regarding three different projects shared with the public.
While media outlets close to the government have described this investigation as the "corruption of the century," Anadolu Agency shared the details of the audit reports prepared by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change yesterday.
Journalist Murat Ağırel reacted to the news reported by AA with the following words: "Look at the news being served! It's like a joke. But it's not. They tried to find something... But when they couldn't find anything, they wrote something up. They added an extra door to the terrace. The kitchen was exactly 15 centimeters too big! For God's sake, someone stop this hurricane of corruption! What does it mean to put a door on a terrace? Could there be such a huge scandal!?"
The 'irregularity' findings included in the news served by pro-government media and AA are listed as follows:
It was determined that the roof ridge height of 8 semi-detached villas consisting of 16 blocks built in Beylikdüzü Gürpınar was constructed 80 to 100 centimeters higher than permitted. In addition, it was determined that a double-pitched slope was applied to the roofs. Furthermore, it was stated that the ceiling height of the shop located on the first basement floor of Block A1 was built at four meters instead of the required 4.50 meters.
In another project, it was stated that the building inspection firm was selected without being officially appointed. It was noted that sections such as sports rooms, corridors, technical areas, and hobby rooms were not built in certain areas on the basement floors, and these areas were left to the users' preference.
The audit reports also included information that an extra exit door to the terrace was added from the living room-kitchen section and that the width of the bedrooms was increased from 290 centimeters to 350 centimeters. In the same project, it was determined that the terrace width was reduced from 350 centimeters to 290 centimeters.
