Abandoned bag near school in Kütahya prompts police response
An unattended bag spotted near a high school was detonated in a controlled manner for security reasons; it was later determined to be empty.

A bag left under a concrete utility pole in front of the Akşemsettin Girls' Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in the Dumlupınar neighborhood of Kütahya caused concern. Noticed by passersby, the bag was immediately reported to the police.
Numerous police teams arrived at the scene and temporarily halted pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area. For security purposes, the scene was cordoned off with tape, and no one was allowed to approach.
After bomb disposal experts were called in, the suspicious bag was detonated in a controlled manner using a fuse. An inspection following the incident determined that the bag was empty.
After finding no elements of danger, police teams informed the surrounding citizens and restored normalcy to the area.
