New details have emerged regarding certain secret witness testimonies that were not included in the indictment prepared as part of the investigation into the IMM. It is alleged that a secret witness codenamed "Ceviz," who was reportedly found in the supplementary folders, gave testimony regarding the 11th President, Abdullah Gül.
According to a report by Furkan Karabay from Medyascope; it is stated that the secret witness "Ceviz," who was not included in the indictment, gave testimony on April 7, 2025, to the prosecutor serving at the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, who also signed the IMM indictment.
The secret witness claimed that they had been involved in trade in Istanbul for many years and had witnessed bribery and irregular transactions by Ekrem İmamoğlu and his circle.
The secret witness codenamed "Ceviz" also mentioned İlbak Holding Chairman of the Board Murat İlbak, who was reportedly released after becoming a confessor following his arrest within the scope of the investigation. According to the allegation, the secret witness stated in their testimony: "The real and invisible boss of İlbak Holding, who supported and grew this holding rapidly over the last 15 years, is Abdullah Gül and his brother Macit Gül."
