Access ban imposed on Fatma Soydaş's Instagram and TikTok accounts
Content creator Fatma Soydaş's Instagram and TikTok accounts have been blocked from access in Turkey by a decision of the Ankara 5th Criminal Judgeship of Peace.

An access ban has been issued regarding content creator Fatma Soydaş's Instagram and TikTok accounts. According to information provided by the Freedom of Expression Association's (İFÖD) EngelliWeb project, the decision was made by the Ankara 5th Criminal Judgeship of Peace.
It was stated that the accounts belonging to Soydaş were blocked from access in Turkey under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. With this implementation, the accounts have been made invisible to users in Turkey.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had previously announced that an investigation had been launched into Fatma Soydaş on the grounds of "publicly insulting religious values" due to her posts on her TikTok and Instagram accounts, and that a detention order had been issued. It was reported that Soydaş was taken into custody following this order.
