An access ban has been imposed on news reports stating that an investigation had been launched against CHP Edirne Deputy Ahmet Baran Yazgan for the crimes of "sexual harassment" and "sexual assault at the level of molestation" following images and allegations circulated on social media.
It was stated that the decision was taken by the Edirne 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace. According to T24, the access ban was issued within the scope of Article 8/A of Law No. 5651.
The decision noted that it was based on the grounds of "national security, protection of public order, prevention of crime, or ensuring the safety of life and property" within the scope of the aforementioned article.
