The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) reached an important decision during today's Supreme Council meeting.
The ban on three websites, which were previously blocked for lacking a broadcasting license, has been lifted. The decision covers Deutsche Welle's Turkish service dw.com, dwturkce.com, and inspiredminds.de.
In recent inspections conducted by the RTÜK Monitoring and Evaluation Department, it was determined that the websites in question provide visual and audio content that can only be evaluated within the scope of press activities.
It was also stated that the objectionable content cited as the reason for the previous ban had been removed from publication.
EXPECTED TO BE ACCESSIBLE
However, despite the decision, the domain names in question are still inaccessible from Turkey. Access is expected to be restored once technical arrangements are completed.
