Access blocked for 184 social media accounts in obscenity investigation

Access has been blocked to 184 accounts and links as part of an obscenity investigation conducted under the instruction of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was reported that the decision covers all accounts and links identified within the scope of the investigation.

It was stated that the accounts for which access was blocked include some individuals with large followings on social media. The shared list included names such as Esra Rabia Ünal, Fidan Atalay, Elif Karaaslan, and Gizem Bağdaçiçek.

It was also reported that the list includes accounts used in the names of or associated with Ayşe Çelik, Ebru Arman, Alya Vural, Zeynep Çağış, Berilşah, Mika Slowana, Wettpolly, and Ben Zelal.

It was noted that the announced names constitute only a portion of the 184 accounts and links for which access was blocked. The access blocking decision implemented within the scope of the investigation was stated to cover accounts and links on the relevant digital platforms.
