Access blocked for numerous accounts including soL Haber and the Family Solidarity Network
Numerous X accounts have been blocked from access in Turkey on the grounds of 'national security and public order'.

According to the Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD), the blocked accounts include the Family Solidarity Network (@ailedayanismagi), the new account of soL Haber (@soLHaberSusmaz), and the account of photographer and writer Fırat Erez (@FIRATEREZ).
The Family Solidarity Network is a platform established by the families of politicians and bureaucrats arrested during operations targeting municipalities held by the CHP and YENİ Party.
soL Haber's X account with 924 thousand followers (@solhaberportali) was also blocked from access and made invisible from Turkey on July 3, 2026, for the same reason.
STATEMENT FROM SO L HABER PORTAL EDITOR-IN-CHIEF GÜNAY
Yiğit Günay wrote the following regarding the decision to shut down their social media accounts:
"soL's X account has been shut down once again.
The justification is "national security". Who decides this? Not even a court, but civil servants appointed by the AKP. They shut them down, then they get a court order issued.
Our readers know very well the reason for the systematic attack on soL Haber in recent times; we have no doubt about that.
We will repel it. There is no need to say that we will not be silenced.
But there is a need to respond to this attack with a strong move.
We were already preparing. Anyone who takes the struggle of the working class seriously cannot leave their fate in the hands of international monopolies' platforms or the lackeys of the AKP.
This problem must be solved permanently. The solution lies in making the relationship between the reader and the publication direct and strengthening it. We have planned it.
At this stage, we have two requests.
The first is for you to follow our new account.
The second, and most importantly, is for you to subscribe to soL Haber. This is our most important need to solve this problem, to raise the voice of the truth, and to respond to these attacks with a major breakthrough. We must grow our resources.
