Accident at mining site: Vehicle plunges into ravine
In Eyüpsultan, a vehicle that entered a dead-end road at a mining site plunged into a ravine when the road ended. Two people injured in the vehicle, which was rescued by firefighters following the bizarre accident, were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The accident occurred last Monday around 12:00 PM at a mining site belonging to a private company in the Pirinççi neighborhood of Eyüpsultan.
According to the information obtained, Ömer Faruk Yıldırım and Şahin Özyapı arrived at the mining site around noon in a pickup truck with license plate 34 GFT 849 and entered a road that had no exit. After traveling for a while, the vehicle went off the road and plunged into the ravine.
While two people in the vehicle were injured in the accident, health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification by workers at the mine. The medical teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, provided initial intervention to the injured individuals rescued by the fire department and transported them to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The fire department team took safety precautions in the surrounding area. Gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation into the bizarre accident and filed a report.
