Accident at shooting training range in Tunceli
The General Directorate of Security (EGM) announced that Special Operations police officer Yiğit Can Yiğit lost his life in an accident that occurred at a shooting training range in Tunceli.

The General Directorate of Security stated that Yiğit Can Yiğit, who was serving in the Special Operations Branch Directorate in Tunceli, was injured as a result of an accident during shooting training and passed away at the hospital where he was taken, despite all interventions.
NEWS OF DEATH REACHES FAMILY HOME
The news of Yiğit's death reached his family home in the Isırganlı neighborhood of Ceyhan district in Adana. District Governor Ramazan Kurtyemez and other officials personally delivered the tragic news to his mother, Meryem, and father, Mehmet Yiğit. Turkish flags were hung at the family's home and at the entrance to the neighborhood.
It was reported that Yiğit Can Yiğit's funeral will be held tomorrow at the Isırganlı Neighborhood Cemetery. Director General of Security Mahmut Demirtaş also published a condolence message for Yiğit.
