Accidentally threw 40 thousand liras worth of gold in the trash
A family in Manisa who accidentally threw their gold worth 40 thousand liras into a street trash bin asked the municipality for help. Thanks to the efforts of municipal teams, the gold was found in the garbage collection truck and returned to its owner.

A family living in the Muradiye neighborhood of Manisa's Yunusemre district stated that they had accidentally thrown their gold, worth approximately 40 thousand liras, into a trash bin and requested help from the Yunusemre Municipality teams.
The municipal teams determined that the vehicle collecting the trash was on its way to the disposal facility. The vehicle was then brought to the municipal construction site, where a search was conducted by the Cleaning Affairs Directorate personnel.
The trash was sorted, and the gold was found and delivered to the family.
Thanking Yunusemre Mayor Mehmet Çerçi and the Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams, Ercan Gündoğdu said, "We had thrown our gold in the trash due to a moment of absent-mindedness. Our Yunusemre Municipality coordinated quickly and helped us recover our gold."
