İpek Kıraç was born on November 29, 1984, in Istanbul. A Turkish businesswoman and executive, Kıraç is the granddaughter of the famous businessman Vehbi Koç. She has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Koç Holding since 2016. Starting her education at Koç Private High School, İpek Kıraç graduated from the Department of Biology at Brown University in 2007. While beginning her master's degree in the Public Health program at Brown University in 2009, she also worked at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research, which conducts research on ALS at UMass Medical School. She also gained clinical experience by interning at the American Hospital's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
