Millet News Agency Editor-in-Chief Sinan Burhan, speaking on the Taksim Meydanı program broadcast on tv100, stated that September will be a very active month in Ankara and that a new party will be established.
Stating that "there are searches in the center-right," Burhan recalled that Democrat Party Deputy Chairman and Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt and DEVA Party leader Ali Babacan met at a dinner.
Following the surprise meeting, Burhan shared the details of his conversation with Cemal Enginyurt regarding questions such as "Is Cemal Enginyurt joining the DEVA Party?" and "Will the DEVA Party form a parliamentary group?"
"WE WILL ESTABLISH A CENTER-RIGHT PARTY"
Burhan's statements are as follows:
"I called Cemal Enginyurt today. I asked, 'Mr. Cemal, are you joining the DEVA Party?' He replied, 'Such a situation is absolutely out of the question. We are pursuing a much larger project. We will establish a center-right party that includes the DEVA Party, the Future Party, the Democrat Party, and even some MPs who have resigned from the IYI Party, as well as disgruntled MPs from the CHP. We will establish a center-right party in September that 40 MPs will join. Therefore, me joining the DEVA Party is not in question.'"
