Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı responded to journalist Turhan Bozkurt, who alleged that he has not paid taxes for 3 years.

The Revenue Administration (GİB) of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has begun to announce the names of individuals who do not pay taxes, referred to as 'tax deadbeats'.

Following the release of the names to the public as of yesterday (October 16), journalist Turhan Bozkurt claimed that media mogul and Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı has not paid taxes for 3 years.

In a post on social media, Bozkurt stated, "If you are going to expose the shameless, start here! Acun Ilıcalı's holding company has also not paid taxes for three years."

Responding to Bozkurt's tax evasion claim on social media, Ilıcalı said:

"I think if we are going to expose slanderers and the ignorant, we should start with you. Acun Medya Holding is a non-profit management company. The total tax paid by the companies it manages in 2023 was 324 million TL. We will pay double that this year. It seems you are not ashamed to smear a company that provides bread for 2500 families; since you can slander so comfortably, I think we can put you on the list of the shameless. Look at this, you become a tax record-holder for years, and then you have to deal with these clowns who are of no use to anyone but themselves."
