Addition coming to MHP's list of 154: MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın spoke clearly

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has once again come to the agenda with the murder case of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş. It has emerged that in its petition requesting to intervene in the case, the MHP filed complaints against more than a hundred names, including journalists and party leaders. Cumhuriyet newspaper columnist Barış Terkoğlu wrote that the MHP, which requested to join the Sinan Ateş case as a "party harmed by the crime," provided a list of 154 names in its application petition and requested that they be summoned to court.

Following the emergence of the 154-person list targeted by the MHP, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli held a press conference at his party's headquarters.

MHP leader Bahçeli said, "Some circles have engaged in great injustices, slanders, belittlement, and accusations against the MHP throughout 2024. The total number of these is 154 people."

Showing the thick file in his hand to the cameras, Bahçeli had stated, "This list we see is the sum of who spoke on which day, at what time, in which program, and what insults they directed at the MHP. This file is in our possession, and when the day comes, it will be acted upon. The action will be of a legal nature. We do not even accept being in contact with them, but we will definitely settle scores on legal grounds."

SEMİH YALÇIN'S ADDITION CALL FOR THE LIST OF 154

MHP leader Bahçeli announced the list of 154, but MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın found 154 people to be too few and said that additions should be made to this list.

MHP's Semih Yalçın said on his social media account, "The list of 154 created excitement. It has become essential to prepare a new addendum to this list." With the phrase "prepare a new addendum to this list," MHP's Yalçın emphasized that additions should be made to the list of 154.

NEW NAME TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST OF 154 HAS BEEN REVEALED

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın, who argued that additions should be made to the 154-person list targeted by the MHP, made a new statement and attacked Sözcü newspaper columnist Rahmi Turan with harsh words. In his column yesterday, Rahmi Turan had said regarding the MHP's list of 154, "The threat is very primitive but should be taken seriously." After saying the list should be updated, Semih Yalçın wrote the following on his social media account regarding Rahmi Turan, who was not on the list:

"Rahmi Turan, the doyen of mischievous journalism and a vagabond of the old Beyoğlu scenes, has once again latched onto the MHP after a long break.

Rahmi Turan occasionally borrows the conscience he rented out to the devil and swings it in the dark like a thief's lantern. He shines the lantern wherever it suits his account.

Like other cowards, Rahmi Turan has also distorted the statements of our Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding the 154 MHP opponents. And he even talked about primitiveness—look who's talking! There is no need for more words for a senile and immoral degenerate. It would be a waste even of the filth that would be splashed onto dark-conscienced people like him."
