Education will be suspended in Adıyaman due to the commemoration programs to be held for the second anniversary of the earthquake.
In a written statement issued by the Adıyaman Governor's Office, it was stated that there would be a high volume of visitors in the city due to the anniversary of the earthquake disaster, and the following was noted:
"Due to the commemoration program to be held in our province on the anniversary of the February 6 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes, and considering that there may be congestion due to cemetery and condolence visits by our citizens, education has been suspended for one day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in primary and secondary schools throughout our province. Furthermore, our personnel working in public institutions and organizations who will attend the commemoration programs and cemetery visits will be considered on administrative leave for one day, provided that all measures are taken to ensure that public services are not disrupted."
