IYI Party Ankara deputy Adnan Beker had resigned from his party. Beker announced his resignation with the words, "As I believe I can no longer contribute further to the Great Turkish Nation, I am resigning from the IYI Party as of today."
SAYMAZ'S CLAIM THAT HE WILL JOIN THE AKP
Journalist and Sözcü TV writer İsmail Saymaz claimed that Adnan Beker will join the AKP and that he may act together with Ümit Dikbayır after Dikbayır also resigns from the IYI Party. Saymaz also emphasized that the two are close friends as the reason.
There has been no statement from Beker or Dikbayır regarding the claims yet.
RESIGNATION EARTHQUAKES IN IYI PARTY
In the IYI Party, Eskişehir Deputy İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu had resigned and joined the AK Party.
Former IYI Party Ankara Deputy Durmuş Yılmaz announced that he had terminated his party membership, and former IYI Party Deputy Chairman Bahadır Erdem also announced that he had resigned from his party.
Most recently, IYI Party Central Disciplinary Board Member Çağdaş Çelik announced his resignation, criticizing the party leadership.
