According to the information received, aircraft takeoffs and landings have not been permitted at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport as of 16:00 due to the duration of the forest fire in Gaziemir, ongoing aerial firefighting efforts, and strong winds.
It was stated that some flights arriving in İzmir have been diverted to other airports, and that operations are expected to return to normal once the fire is brought under control.
