While hundreds of earthquakes, both large and small, have occurred throughout the day, some have caused alarm. There have been no reports of loss of life or property in the earthquakes affecting the Greek islands. According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.5-magnitude tremor was recorded at 05:21 with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea. It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Two earthquakes occurred during the night: one with a magnitude of 4.2 at 02:50 and another with a magnitude of 4 at 05:16.
