The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced the total amount of donations received and expenditures made following the February 6 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes.
In a statement released by AFAD, it was stated that 128 billion 949 million liras in aid were collected for earthquake victims. All expenditures, from rental payments to moving expenses, were shared with the public item by item.
Making a statement regarding the aid campaigns and expenditures, AFAD reported that 128 billion 949 million 827 thousand 127 liras in donations were collected for earthquake victims.
From the donation account, 79 billion 263 million 585 thousand 333 liras were spent. 46 billion 755 million 849 thousand 500 liras were provided to disaster victims as cash assistance. 32 billion 507 million 735 thousand 833 liras were paid for housing expenses. Within this scope, the largest portion of resources was allocated for tent and container infrastructure.
