AFAD: Personnel rescued from two ships
AFAD stated that 3 ships were affected by heavy rain and storms in Zonguldak, and that a total of 25 crew members from two separate ships have been rescued.

In a written statement issued by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), it was noted that upon reports of two ships running aground in Ereğli, AFAD, Coast Guard Command, and fire department teams were dispatched to the region.
Emphasizing that search and rescue operations began immediately, the statement provided the following information: "As a result of the intensive search and rescue efforts, a total of 25 crew members have been rescued, 12 from the first ship and 13 from the second."
It was reported that operations regarding a cargo ship with 12 crew members on board, with which contact has been lost, are continuing without interruption.
The statement also announced that AFAD President Okay Memiş has traveled to the region to coordinate the efforts on-site.
