AFAD issues warning for provinces at risk
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has issued a comprehensive rainfall warning based on the latest data received from the General Directorate of Meteorology.

According to the statement, rainfall is expected to be locally heavy, particularly in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions.

It was reported that the downpours, which are expected to be effective throughout İzmir, Manisa, and Antalya today, will also increase in intensity across Aydın and Muğla. The western and southwestern districts of Denizli and Uşak, as well as the south of Isparta and the Bucak district of Burdur, were also included among the high-risk areas.
WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST ON SUNDAY
On Sunday, the rainfall is expected to shift toward the northwest. Locally heavy downpours are forecast for the surroundings of Sakarya, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, Bolu, and Karabük, as well as the west of Kastamonu and the northwestern districts of Ankara. Authorities have warned against risks such as flash floods, inundation, hail, strong winds, and disruptions to transportation, urging citizens to take precautions.
