Affecting 16 million retirees: When will the Eid al-Adha bonuses be deposited into accounts?
The Social Security Institution (SGK) will pay a total of 57.4 billion Turkish Lira in holiday bonuses to approximately 16 million retirees and beneficiaries before the 2025 Eid al-Adha. Each retiree and beneficiary will receive a bonus of 4,000 TL. So, when will the bonuses be deposited into accounts?

Due to Eid al-Adha beginning on June 6, 2025, the bonus payments are planned to be deposited into retirees' accounts between June 2 and June 5, 2025. Payments will be made sequentially based on the last digit of the retirees' allocation numbers and will be transferred directly to their accounts through the banks where they receive their pensions.
Who will receive the bonus?
The groups that will benefit from the holiday bonus are as follows:
SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı retirees
Recipients of widow's and orphan's pensions (according to the share ratio)
Recipients of old-age pensions
Relatives of martyrs and veterans
Champion athletes
Additionally, individuals who submit their retirement applications and have their pensions approved between March 1 and May 31, 2025, will also be eligible to receive the bonus for Eid al-Adha. For those whose pensions have not yet been processed, payments will be deposited along with their first pension payment.
The SGK made a total of 252.1 billion Turkish Lira in holiday bonus payments between 2018 and 2024. The 57.4 billion Lira payment planned for the 2025 Eid al-Adha will be the highest amount paid in bonuses within this scope.
