After Eskişehir, now Istanbul! 17-year-old masked attacker stabs people on the street

Following the murder in Fatih, citizens have become afraid to go out on the streets. In the latest incident in Başakşehir, a 17-year-old identified as M.G. put on a mask and attacked people he encountered with a knife. The moments were captured on camera. The horrific event brought to mind the attack in Eskişehir in August, where 5 people were injured.

The incident took place yesterday evening in the Kayaşehir neighborhood of the Başakşehir district. Allegedly, an individual began attacking and stabbing people walking on Rabia Street for no apparent reason. The moment of the attack was recorded by citizens' mobile phone cameras. Following the attack, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. While medical teams transported the injured to hospitals, the attacker fled the scene. PREPARED BEFORE THE ATTACK

Before the attack, the individual was seen in a secluded spot at the scene, taking a knife and a piece of cloth from his bag to prepare. After preparing, he stabbed 3 people he encountered at random. The moment of preparation was captured by security cameras.

It was learned that the individual carried out this act after being influenced by computer games and that he also attempted to enter a school located at the scene. The attacker, identified as 17-year-old M.G., was apprehended by police teams.

The individuals injured in the incident, identified as E.Ç., S.Y., and H.F.E., were taken to the hospital by ambulance; it was learned that the condition of the injured remains serious. The suspect, whose procedures at the police station have been completed, was referred to the courthouse today.
