Ümit Özdağ claims snap election following Öcalan's message! He gives a date...

Following the statement made by the DEM Party regarding their meeting with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı, Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ has made a claim of a snap election.

Following MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for "DEM to meet with İmralı," DEM Party members Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan traveled to İmralı yesterday (December 28) to meet with the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan.

In a statement regarding the meeting, the DEM Party said, "We held a comprehensive meeting with Mr. Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı on December 28, 2024. His health is good, and his morale was quite high. The assessments he made regarding finding a permanent solution to the Kurdish Question were of vital importance."

ÜMİT ÖZDAĞ'S SNAP ELECTION CLAIM

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ made a striking claim following the DEM Party's statement on İmralı.

Suggesting that a snap election is coming, Özdağ claimed that the Supreme Election Council (YSK) opened a tender for election ballots on October 8, 2024.

Pointing to the AKP moving its May 2025 congress to February 2025, Özdağ commented, "This means there is a need for a new AKP administration. Deputy chairmen and ministers will change."

HE GIVES A DATE FOR AN EARLY ELECTION

Stating that the AKP is preparing for both an early and a snap election, Özdağ said, "The reasonable date for this election appears to be June 2025. Of course, it could also be in October 2025," providing a date for the snap election.

"An early and SNAP general election is coming. Why, you ask?

1) On October 8, 2024, the Supreme Election Council opened a tender for election ballots.

2) The AKP moved its congress, which was to be held in May 2025, to February 2025. This means there is a need for a new AKP administration. Deputy chairmen and ministers will change,

3) Erdoğan has suspended 'normalization.' He gave election speeches at the Mardin and Muğla provincial congresses,

4) The AKP will bring the mayor of Bağcılar to the AKP Istanbul provincial presidency by having him resign from his post,

5) In the latest poll sent to the Palace, the AKP came out high,

6) With the overthrow of Assad, Erdoğan has found the topic he will use in the election: We have conquered Syria.

7) In January, polling companies will also ask about AKP deputies. The AKP questions its deputies in polls conducted before the election.

8) In May 2025, the 2-year terms of the deputies will expire.

In summary, the AKP is preparing for both an early and a snap election. The reasonable date for this election appears to be June 2025. Of course, it could also be in October 2025. However, since it will be difficult to explain and convince people of the 'victory and conquest in Syria' strategy as time passes, June 2025 might be preferred.
