Aftershocks continue in Yüksekova
Three aftershocks measuring 1.7, 2.9, and 2.1 in magnitude have occurred in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari.

While earthquakes have been occurring consecutively in Hakkari and its districts for months, geoscientists state that they are expecting an earthquake of over 7 in the region.
According to AFAD data, 3 aftershocks occurred: one at 18:57 with a magnitude of 1.7 at a depth of 7.0 km; one at 20:57 with a magnitude of 2.9 at a depth of 7.4 km; and one at 23:16 with a magnitude of 2.1 at a depth of 5.0 km. It was reported that there was no loss of life or property in the earthquakes.
On the other hand, according to information received from local residents, the earthquake was felt most strongly in the village of Dağlıca, located 50 kilometers from the district center.
