The decision regarding the appointment of Ahmet Birtan Erol as the Afyonkarahisar Police Chief has been published in the Official Gazette.
With the appointment decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Afyonkarahisar Police Chief Mahmut Ay was dismissed from his post. He was replaced by Ahmet Birtan Erol. The appointment was made in accordance with articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3.
