Ağbaba responds to Nedim Şener's criticism of his 'Ogün Samast' visit

A debate took place on social media between CHP deputy Veli Ağbaba and journalist Nedim Şener regarding Ağbaba's visit to Ogün Samast.

CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, responded to journalist Nedim Şener, who criticized the prison visit to Hrant Dink's murderer Ogün Samast in 2012.
 
Ağbaba stated, "As the Human Rights Commission, we visited everyone regardless of whether they were a murderer, a scumbag, a degenerate, a lowlife, or dishonorable. We visited them without distinguishing whether they were right or wrong, good or bad. Just as we visited you..." 

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was also a member of his party's Prison Investigation and Monitoring Commission during his time as a Manisa deputy in 2012. Özel had also met with Hrant Dink's murderer, Ogün Samast, for a report prepared by the commission.

Journalist Nedim Şener, following the release of Dink's murderer Samast, criticized this visit by Özel. CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba responded to the criticisms.
