Ağıralioğlu speaks on the red lines of the Anahtar Party: 'We will bring politics to the level of a medical profession'
Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, Chairman of the Anahtar Party, gave his first interview after founding his party and explained its red lines.

Ağıralioğlu, Chairman of the Anahtar Party, which began its political life a very short time ago, answered questions from Mehmet Akif Ersoy on Habertürk TV.
Here are the highlights from Ağıralioğlu's statements:
"POLITICS IS A DUTY LIKE STANDING GUARD FOR THE COUNTRY"
The nature of party politics is entirely about believing that a better Turkey is possible, uniting with the nation's hope, and succeeding when transformed into a political mechanism. Some find the words closer, some the leader, and some both. It is the ability to capture the spirit of the word at the right time. Politics is a duty like standing guard for the country. There will be debates, and there will be polemics. We founded this party with friends who believe that a better way is possible. We were founded as the 161st party with 161 friends. This was entirely a coincidence.
"THOSE WHO OBJECTED JOINED THOSE THEY OBJECTED TO"
There were various invitations. There were those who consulted and those who invited. I did the accounting of politics like this: Throughout my life, I have spoken my words by standing where the nation could find them. Choices within parties have eroded significantly. Those who objected joined those they objected to. This has made politics unprincipled. The 22-year rule of the AK Party is not something Turkish politics has experienced before. In this process, you are forced to say the exact opposite of everything you have said. It erodes words, attitudes, and associations in politics. People think, 'He will go there tomorrow, and he will come here tomorrow.' This area of unprincipledness has also damaged the reputation of politics. A 22-year rule makes politics unprincipled in countries with fragmented political structures like Turkey.
"WE ARE NOT CONTENT WITH WHAT IS BEING DONE"
I did not practice politics as a profession. This is my debt. There are things we can do for the better tomorrows that I think are good for my country. If politics is to be given a new lease on life. If politics has caused this much poverty, being resigned to this also causes the politician to lose their reputation. If Mr. Tayyip had continued from the tradition of the Welfare Party in 2002, he might not have found what he found. He developed an objection. He objected to the bureaucracy in Turkey, he objected to elitism, he objected to waste. We are the ones who object. We are not content with what is being done in the current political structures. We are not content with our share from a country with such great wealth. We have accounted for the opposition and the government. Today, the necessity for a party arose like this; there is a bottleneck between the party that has the power and strength to implement every program it holds but cannot, and those who are a hope but cannot come to power.
"THE POLITICAL BODY HAS AGED"
Parties also grow old. I realized along with society that the political body has aged. It is necessary to establish the party in the heart of the nation. We have such a sensitivity. Mr. Tayyip had also said this. It is very easy to establish a party physically. It should be established when the conditions make it noticeable that the nation needs a party. I saw that at the foundation. We traveled for 1 year. They came, we listened. Instead of establishing the party physically, we are looking at what the nation wants it to be and what they believe can happen. People, rightly, entered into the thought of 'should we not start over' due to the disappointment that comes with every new beginning. We consulted. The enthusiasm that came on the founding day, which corresponds to October 28, paved the way for our lane. People came naturally from everywhere. In other words, we are on the threshold of an enthusiasm that fits the definition that the nation is founding the party.
"WE HAVE RED LINES"
We will bring politics to the level of a medical profession. That is, we do not ask any doctor we go to for an examination, 'Are you a graduate of Kartal İmam Hatip, did you visit the Idealist Hearths, do you pray the night prayer?' We are not going to pray behind the doctor; we are going to be treated. We have to pull politics to a place suitable for its nature. There is an area we have defined with our red lines. Under the crescent and star flag, anyone who feels they belong to this nation, who has idealism up to any trouble that may come to them rather than eating rights, whose heart belongs to these lands, and who can have a sensitivity for what is forbidden and what is lawful, is within the area of belonging. No one talks about being satisfied with their place anymore. People are talking about belonging to a nation that they can talk about with enthusiasm. People want their country to be strong, they want to live in a strong country. They want to experience law and justice at high standards.
"I SEE MY MUSLIM IDENTITY AS A DEBT TO GOD"
Inflation now hits people at the same rate, and the safety of the streets hits at the same rate. The unhappiness of our children breaks all our hearts. This area created a feeling about the change in the political climate. We used to talk in our own compartments. Now I say it, an Alevi hears it. A leftist says it, I hear it. You wouldn't believe who is coming.
I see this as a deep wave. We are people with values. I grew up within the nationalist-conservative community. I see my Muslim identity as a debt to God. What causes our discomfort in politics is the discomfort of imposing bigotry.
Whatever you believe in, why should I have to believe in what you believe? Identity-based politics, but no identity politics. Personality politics, but no politics based on values. We learned these from the 22-year rule. Even religiosity, nationalism, and sacred concepts have become concepts used in wrist-wrestling and have been damaged. Our nationalism and religiosity have been damaged in 22 years.
"SOCIETY DOES NOT WANT POLITICS BASED ON VALUES"
Nation-centered politics. We are not going to go for the liquidation of the right or the left. Honest and dishonest. Carrying the law to protect the rights of the nation. Between those who live for the nation and those who use the nation's resources for themselves. We no longer need a new identity debate, sect, or creed debate in the country.
We are the Turkish nation. Politics will learn to say 'I don't know.' It needs to get rid of the arrogance of 'I know everything.' It will ask the one who knows that they don't know. Let us value morality and religiosity, let us value responsible nationalism. I saw that the nation is like this.
We have to establish a mechanism that has to account for everything. Society no longer wants politics based on values. Let us not give up on values. Countries with moral societies of religious people and hardworking societies of nationalists are strong. Countries with local and national societies of social democrats are strong. We have lowered our average human quality too much. This nation needs dervishes and religious morality. It needs hardworking nationalists. Religiosity has become like a shawl that covers our faults.
"THE CALL TO PRAYER STOPS IF YOU TAKE BRIBES"
Our nationalists need to know this; the flag does not come down. The wind of the flag is a strong economy. The call to prayer does not stop. The call to prayer stops if you take bribes. It stops if you plunder the Treasury, if you interfere with tenders. It does not stop when you turn off the loudspeaker. If your party had a one-sentence program, we would write this; we will bring everything to its natural state. I wanted to find my nation where I knew it. I found my nation where I knew it. I found my nation with objections. I found it objecting to ostentation. I found it angry because of the immorality of religiosity and the laziness of nationalists.
"WE ARE THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY"
Currently, our state and our nation have problems. If we cannot solve them, we have state and nation problems. We have to carry the right questions to the right place with the answers we get from our interlocutors. We are a future for the country. We see politics as a place of duty. We do not see politics as an area to fight with the government. We are walking to the place of duty.
"WHERE DID THE NAME ANAHTAR COME FROM?"
We said let's find a solution like a key to key problems. The idea came from me. The key is the key that can solve the country's problems. The country has children who can solve its problems. We touch the light bulb in the evenings, we touch the key many times during the day.
Everyone has a key in their hand in daily life. We enter our house with a key, we open the car with a key. The key is something that denotes esoteric and responsibility. The key can open and solve problems. We wanted no one to be poked by the name or the emblem.
We wanted there to be no association in the memory that would disturb anyone. It seemed reasonable to our friends. I first said Party A. Our traditionalists, our elders call us 'Anahtar Party'. I said let it be 'A Party' for our children and the new generation.
I said what A evokes is beautiful. I said it is entering Anatolia with Alparslan. I said it depicts our rise with morality, justice, perseverance, and reason. I said it depicts our sealing our eternal stay in these lands with Atatürk.
"SUPPORT FOR US IS VERY HIGH"
We owe it to our nation. We have a sensitivity called competent unknowns. Thank God, the country has children who can know, who can do what they know, and who can build strong tomorrows. I say we have a debt to those who cannot find what we have found. The children of my dear nation who find opportunities, money, and education. The children who can find blessings are in debt to those who cannot find what they have found. The producer, the farmer, the dreams of the children are in difficulty. I said, those who have money will give money, those who have mind will give mind, those who have time will give their time to this nation. I saw such responses to what I said. We have no hesitation. The nation also has wealthy children. Support for us is very high.
"WE ARE AN EASTERN SOCIETY, WE LOVE LEADERSHIP"
In normal times, there are 3 years until the election. We need to announce it now. I want to wave a banner. To wave a banner from where our nation can see and hear us. Like the staff of the Republic. Each one is interchangeable with the other. I want it to be a community of virtuous people who are not worried about who should be in front. We are an eastern society, we love leadership. We need to care about that. Even independently of Mr. Tayyip's party, this is what it corresponds to.
"WE WILL DO DELICIOUS POLITICS"
We will finish the organization quickly. We will complete 81 provinces and their districts. Our intention is to hold our grand congress at the beginning of the summer. We have no difficulties. We would like to proceed by making consultations a little healthier. I hope I will come here with a congress invitation at the beginning of the summer. In the meantime, there are key problems in the country, to come out with a solution paradigm. To be an opposition that guides the government. We will walk not by being at odds with the government, but by saying what is right. We will do politics not with hostility but with a concentration on the country's future. We will do delicious politics.
THE FOOL CASE
Law has eroded a lot in such matters recently. Mr. Tayyip is a leader who went to prison for reading a poem. Mr. Tayyip was granted 22 years of tolerance. All the goals set by Mr. Tayyip as 2023 are achievable goals. Now, the government cannot save itself by invoicing the accounting of not being able to reach these to the opposition. The poverty that falls to the nation's share from such a great hope is a picture that Mr. Tayyip would not be content with.
We have to see the problems of the country correctly. Our survival problem is really starting now. There are 8.5 million substance addicts. There is something called virtual betting. The nation remains a hostage in the hands of its children. Our children cannot dream. We have serious problems in agriculture and animal husbandry.
Politics will account for what it collects, distributes, and spends like a man. Politics corrupts justice to protect its power. It brings education to this state to establish the perspective it thinks is its own belief.
"IT IS POSSIBLE TO RAISE THIS COUNTRY"
We do not get stuck in the parenthesis of votes. It has 26 million young people. 18 million in secondary education, 8 million in university. It can do agriculture, animal husbandry, it has mining. A country that can grow everything in every season. It is not fate for this country to be like this. It is possible to raise this country. We will not fall victim to political debate.
