Future Party Chairman Davutoğlu used the following expressions in his post:
I learned with deep sadness the news of the passing of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation, after their helicopter made a hard landing and crashed while returning from Azerbaijan. I wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the accident, patience for their families, and I extend my condolences to the friendly state of Iran and its people.
What happened:
Iranian state television announced that there were no survivors in the crash involving the helicopter carrying President Raisi yesterday. While the wreckage of the helicopter was reached after 15 hours of work, it was announced that Raisi, Foreign Minister Abdollahian, Tabriz Governor Malek Rahmati, and Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei's Representative in Tabriz, Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, were among those who lost their lives in the accident. It was noted that 2 high-ranking military officials from the Revolutionary Guards Corps and 3 crew members who were on Raisi's helicopter also lost their lives in the accident.
