Hürriyet Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan shared a photo of a sign on a shop window in Istanbul that read "No Jews Allowed," commenting, "This is the most wrong reaction that could be given to the atrocities happening in Gaza. Beyond being wrong, it is officially racism. A hate crime is being committed openly. There are Jews who vehemently object to this atrocity."

"THE US GIVES ISRAEL THIS AUDACITY"

Hakan expressed his thoughts, saying, "It is the state of Israel that is raining down bombs. The greatest reaction should be shown to it. The US gives Israel this audacity... That is the most meaningful address for objection. The entire Europe cannot even say 'ceasefire'... That is where the stance should be taken."

"THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS WAR"

Hakan stated, "We have said it many times: This is not a religious war. It has nothing to do with Judaism, Islam, or Christianity. This is a war of humanity. The sides are clear: On one side are those who are in favor of killing civilians and children, and on the other side are those who oppose the killing of civilians and children."
