Ahmet Sonuç, known as 'Jahrein', arrested
Ahmet Sonuç, known by the nickname 'Jahrein', was arrested by the court today following his detention yesterday and sent to prison.

The Antalya Police Department had announced yesterday that the reason for the detention of Ahmet Sonuç was 'obscene content in speeches and broadcasts'.
Aslan Değirmenci, Digital Media Coordinator of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, stated in a post on his social media account X: "It has been reported that the user with the username Rockerpuck_Evil and the handle Pungent 666 (Ertürk Kösen) and the user with the handle Jahrein (Ahmet Sonuç), who used immoral expressions targeting young girls in X chat rooms, have been ordered to be arrested by the court in accordance with Article 100 and subsequent articles of the Criminal Procedure Code (CMK)."
POLICE HAD ISSUED A STATEMENT
The Antalya Police Department included the following statements in its written announcement:
"Following reports in some press/media outlets and social media accounts regarding obscene speeches and broadcasts made via the internet, the following statement has become necessary.
It has been observed that conversations not in line with the general morality and common values of society were held in a live chat room titled 'Incel chat room', which is available in open sources, with the username 'Rockerpuck_Evil' and the handle 'Pungent 666' on the social media platform X (Twitter).
When the conversations in question were examined, it was DETERMINED that the user of the X account with the username 'Rockerpuck_Evil' and the handle 'Pungent 666' is the individual named (E.K.).
Furthermore, it was observed that the user named/with the handle 'JAHREİN' made similar content in a live broadcast on the social media platform Twitch, and as a result of the examinations, it was DETERMINED that the user named/with the handle 'Jahrein' is the individual named (A.S.).
The individuals named (E.K.) and (A.S.) were TAKEN INTO CUSTODY on 12.09.2024 by our Police Department's Cyber Crimes Combat Branch officers, and PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INITIATED against them for the crime of OBSCENITY according to Article 226 of the Turkish Penal Code."
