Aid dropped by parachute into Gaza

According to the official Jordanian news agency Petra, King Abdullah stated, "Emergency medical supplies and medicine were delivered by air to the Jordanian Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip."

Meanwhile, in a statement on the X platform, King Abdullah said, "Thank God, our Air Force personnel in the Armed Forces managed to airdrop urgent medical and pharmaceutical aid to the Jordanian Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip at midnight."

Stating that "it is our duty to help the wounded who are suffering due to the war in Gaza," the King of Jordan noted that his country would remain the closest supporter of its Palestinian brothers.

On the other hand, a statement on the official website of the Jordanian Army, citing a military source from the General Command of the Armed Forces, included the following: "In accordance with the Royal directives, and due to the depletion of medical supplies and the delay in delivering aid to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing, a Royal Air Force aircraft airdropped emergency medical supplies to the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/76 during the night."

The statement, which noted that the hospital continues its operations despite a severe shortage of supplies, emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces are fulfilling their humanitarian role to alleviate the suffering of families in the Gaza Strip with this operation.

King Abdullah of Jordan gave instructions for the Jordanian Field Hospital to continue its operations on October 25, despite it being damaged and rendered out of service following Israeli attacks.

The Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza was established in 2009. The hospital, which is affiliated with the Jordanian army, serves approximately 1,200 people daily. The services provided at the hospital, where medical, administrative, and technical teams are rotated every three months, are free of charge.
