AK Youth targets Ali İsmail Korkmaz

CHP Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş commemorated Ali İsmail Korkmaz, who was murdered during the 2013 Gezi Park Protests, on her social media account with the words, "Ali İsmail’s dreams, hopes, and quest for justice will always inspire us."
A response targeting Ali İsmail Korkmaz came from the AKP in reaction to Dedetaş's post. The Üsküdar Mayor's post was targeted by the AKP Üsküdar Youth Branch with accusations of "terrorism."
In the post, which quoted Dedetaş's message and stated, "Those who are blind, deaf, and dumb to Eren Bülbül, teacher Aybüke, Necmettin Yılmaz, and our many other martyrs are inspired by those who rebel against the state," it was also said of the CHP, "Because this understanding is at the foundation of your party. Only terrorists and members of organizations can inspire you." This post by the AKP drew backlash on social media.
