AKOM issues warning for Istanbul with specific timing: Thunderstorms are coming
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has announced that thunderstorms are expected in the city starting from tomorrow morning.

According to the statement made by AKOM, temperatures in the Marmara Region, especially in Istanbul, are expected to remain above seasonal norms, hovering around 14-17 degrees.
Starting from tomorrow morning, intermittent showers and locally heavy thunderstorms are forecast, primarily across the European side and around the Bosphorus on the Anatolian side. The precipitation is expected to continue intermittently until Wednesday evening.
The statement urged citizens to be careful and take precautions against potential negative impacts.
