AKOM issues warning with specific timing: Thunderstorms are coming to Istanbul
According to an announcement from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), cool and rainy weather is expected to affect Istanbul on Sunday.

In a statement released by the İBB-affiliated AKOM, it was reported that cool and rainy weather, expected to arrive via the Balkans, will take effect across Istanbul starting Sunday, causing temperatures to drop by 6-8 degrees suddenly.
The warning stated, "Starting from the morning hours on Sunday, intermittent showers and, in some places, heavy thunderstorms are expected across the province. It is important for our citizens to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences due to the rainfall expected until Sunday evening hours."
