AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s chief advisor Oktay Saral has targeted Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy over a festival held in Trabzon.

Reminding of the ongoing attacks in Gaza and the 12 soldiers who were martyred in northern Iraq, Saral reacted to Ersoy for not canceling the festival, stating: “While setting up stages in Trabzon and organizing entertainment with songs and dances, did your heart not feel uneasy at all!? Did your conscience not ache at all?”

Stating that Ersoy is disconnected from the spirit of the nation, Saral used the expressions: “What a great lack of sensitivity this is... It will remain as a black stain on consciences!”

"YOU ARE THE ONE WHO VISITS THE MINISTER WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING..."

Following this post by Saral, a remarkable post came from AKP 27th Term Niğde Deputy Selim Gültekin.

Sharing a photo of Saral recently visiting Ersoy, Gültekin said: “You are the one who visited the Minister in his office recently when you needed something, and you are the one who is tweeting.”

"WHO MADE YOU WRITE THIS TWEET?"

At the end of Gültekin's post, his question, “Who made you write this tweet, come on, tell us,” sparked curiosity.

SUPPORT FOR SARAL FROM METİNER

On the other hand, former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner supported Saral with the words, "My brave brother! I'm glad you exist!"

"THE UNDERSTANDING OF BRAVERY IN THIS CAUSE SHOULD NOT BE DAILY, BUT LIFELONG!"

Quoting Metiner's post, Gültekin also said: "Why does he exist? When someone who recently visited the Minister in his office when he needed something has the chance to consult face-to-face about what is on his mind, why would he tweet... The understanding of bravery in this cause should not be daily, but lifelong! Such is what loyalty to our President requires…"
