In the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, which continues with the calls made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli during his group meetings, the next step has been determined as a visit to İmralı by the parties that are members of the commission.

Following the CHP's decision and announcement that it would not go to İmralı, the parties that will go to meet with PKK terrorist organization leader Öcalan are the AKP, MHP, and DEM Party.

Evaluating the decisions made and the steps to be taken during a live broadcast, Cem Küçük brought a different perspective to the issue, stating that citizens do not find the visit to İmralı to be correct.

Küçük made the following comment regarding the issue:

“I haven't heard a single person who views going to İmralı positively.

Why is the island being visited? The public does not accept this.

We should have seen the PKK lay down its arms first; this should have ended.”
