AKP comments on 1st place on the ballot: 'Being first in the heart and mind is what matters most'

AKP's YSK Representative Recep Özel evaluated his party's placement in the first position on the ballot.

Özel stated that it is a common occurrence for the AKP to be drawn in the first position among the 35 parties. "The AK Party is always in the first place. Being in the first place on the ballot is important to us as well. But what is more important is for the citizen to vote under your emblem when they go to the ballot box, having you in their heart and mind," he said.

Özel noted that the order on the ballot is important for voters to find their party easily, but the most important thing is to be in the first place in the hearts of the citizens. He expressed that his party feels confident in this regard and hopes to receive the support of the citizens.

Furthermore, noting that the order may change in local elections because not every political party may participate in all regions, Özel emphasized that only the positions of the parties in the first and last places will remain unchanged.
