AKP deputy chair loses life in traffic accident

Fatma Sevim Baltacı, Deputy Chair of the AKP Istanbul Provincial Women's Branch, has passed away following a traffic accident.

COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik stated, "We have lost our Istanbul Provincial Women's Branch deputy chair, Fatma Sevim Baltacı, as a result of a tragic traffic accident. We are deeply saddened by the passing of our valued colleague. May God have mercy on her. May she rest in peace. Our condolences to our organization and her family."

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca also published a message of condolence on social media.

Minister Koca used the following expressions: "AK Party Istanbul Provincial Women's Branch Deputy Chair Fatma Sevim Baltacı, following the accident she had in front of the provincial organization building, was taken to Okmeydanı Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital after receiving life-saving interventions in the ambulance that arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, she has left us despite all efforts. I offer my condolences to her family, loved ones, and our AK Party community, and pray for God's mercy upon her. May she rest in peace."
