AKP Deputy Chairman Ala: Our Bursa is battling forest fires

In his post, AKP Deputy Chairman Ala stated that teams are continuing their efforts, saying, "Unfortunately, our Bursa is currently battling forest fires.

However, as we have in every difficult time as a nation, we will overcome this disaster today as well, in unity and solidarity. All institutions of our state, primarily our General Directorate of Forestry, AFAD, our fire department teams, and our local governments, are continuing their firefighting efforts with great devotion.

Our personnel, who are performing their duties heroically, are in the field with great dedication, working heart and soul to protect our forests and residential areas," he stated.

In his post, where he called on citizens to be sensitive and follow only statements from official sources, Ala said, "Our ministries and relevant official institutions will continue to inform the public at regular intervals. At this point, it is of great importance that our citizens rely only on statements made by official sources and remain careful and sensitive against unverified news circulating on social media or other channels, as well as efforts to turn the issue into political material. Disinformation can cause an environment of panic and distrust that will harm the fight against the fires."

In the post made by Ala, well wishes were extended to the citizens affected by the fire, stating, "We are grateful to our citizens for the solidarity and sensitivity they have shown during this process. By acting together, behaving with common sense, and following the guidance of our institutions, we will overcome this disaster all together. On this occasion, I convey my best wishes to all our fellow citizens affected by the fires."
