AKP Deputy Chairman Ala: Turkey is determined to fulfill its responsibilities in Syria

Deputy Chairman Ala, in a post on his social media account, stated, "As emphasized by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the establishment of lasting stability in Syria and the region is Turkey's unchanging priority. In line with this goal, recent developments in Syria are opening a window of historical opportunity."

Emphasizing that the return of refugees will pave the way for stability in the region, Ala said, "The normalization process observed in Syria, the gradual lifting of international sanctions, efforts to re-establish state structures, and most importantly, the emergence of opportunities for refugees to return to their homelands in a safe, dignified, and voluntary manner are promising for the future of the region. The fact that the country's resources will be allocated to reconstruction, development, and increasing prosperity is a turning point not only for the Syrian people but for all neighbors and the region. This situation is the foundation of a solid ground that will pave the way for regional trade, investment, and stability."
