AKP Deputy Chairman Yalçın hospitalized

AKP Deputy Chairman Hasan Basri Yalçın has been hospitalized for treatment following a maritime accident in Bodrum.

AKP Deputy Chairman Hasan Basri Yalçın was involved in a maritime accident in Bodrum. Brought to shore by boat, Yalçın was taken to Bodrum State Hospital. It was learned that Yalçın is not in life-threatening condition.

AKP Deputy Chairman Hasan Basri Yalçın, who was injured after falling into the sea in Bodrum, has been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where it was announced that he is in good health and is being kept under observation.

AKP Deputy Chairman Hasan Basri Yalçın was involved in a maritime accident in Bodrum. After falling into the sea, Yalçın was brought to shore by boat and taken to Bodrum State Hospital. It was learned that Yalçın is not in life-threatening condition. Following the news of the incident, Prof. Dr. Aydın Ayaydın, the AKP candidate for Muğla Metropolitan Municipality in the last local elections, Bodrum District Governor Mustafa Çit, District Police Chief Mehmet Darendele, and party members arrived at the hospital.

"HIS CONDITION IS QUITE GOOD, HE IS CONSCIOUS"

Prof. Dr. Aydın Ayaydın stated in his remarks in front of the hospital, "Our AK Party Deputy Chairman has had an accident. Following the accident, he was transferred to Bodrum State Hospital. All necessary interventions were performed in the emergency room. There is no life-threatening danger. His condition is quite good, and he is conscious. His examinations have been completed, and there are no issues at the moment. He is currently being kept under observation in his room."

"THERE IS AN INJURY TO HIS SPINE"

Bodrum State Hospital Chief Physician Dr. Oğuz Şahin said, "Our patient presented to our emergency room following a fall. The necessary tests and examinations were performed. He is conscious and doing quite well. There is an injury to his spine, but he has no neurological impairment. He is currently under observation and is not in life-threatening condition."

TRANSFERRED TO ISTANBUL BY AIR AMBULANCE

Yalçın, who was brought to shore from the sea following the accident off the coast of Bodrum, was taken to Bodrum State Hospital and treated in the emergency room. Following the examinations, he was transferred to Istanbul by air ambulance at midnight.

Throughout the transfer process, Prof. Dr. Aydın Ayaydın did not leave Yalçın's side for a moment. Ayaydın, who arrived at the hospital with District Police Chief Mehmet Darendeli, followed the treatment process step by step.

Prof. Dr. Aydın Ayaydın said, "His health condition is good. All our physicians have mobilized. We wish him a speedy recovery once again."

CLOSE MONITORING BY MINISTER MEMİŞOĞLU

It was learned that Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu also closely followed the crisis process in Bodrum. It was stated that Minister Memişoğlu continuously received information from hospital officials and that medical teams in Istanbul were kept on standby for the transfer.

Ayaydın, along with Police Chief Darendeli and Muğla Provincial Health Director Eriş Başaran Akça, accompanied Hasan Basri Yalçın to the air ambulance.
