AKP Deputy Chairman Yayman puts an end to the debate: 'There will be no early elections in Turkey'

AKP Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman stated, "We are calling out to all of Turkey once again from Uşak. There will be no early elections in Turkey. As the saying goes, a defeated wrestler never gets enough of wrestling. Because the opposition has lost 18 elections in 25 years, they are now calling for early elections, early elections. God willing, the elections will be held on time in 2028."

AKP Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman attended the Expanded Provincial Advisory Council Meeting held at the Atatürk Cultural Center following his day-long program in Uşak. In his speech, Yayman criticized CHP-run municipalities, stating that while basic infrastructure and transportation problems persist in some cities, resources are not being used efficiently and expenditures are being made on high-budget events.

Yayman said, "Those who look at Turkey from the outside envy us. In a Turkey that those looking from the outside envy, the opposition, the CHP mentality, unfortunately, smears everything. They engage in disinformation and perception operations regarding everything. Unfortunately, but unfortunately, today the CHP is not on the side of development, growth, progress, and Turkey becoming a global power, but is unfortunately being dragged into a position as if it were an obstacle. Our citizens see this and express it."

Emphasizing that there will be no early elections in Turkey, Yayman said, "We are calling out to all of Turkey once again from Uşak. There will be no early elections in Turkey. As the saying goes, a defeated wrestler never gets enough of wrestling. Because the opposition has lost 18 elections in 25 years, they are now calling for early elections, early elections.

God willing, the elections will be held on time in 2028. Perhaps by moving them forward a few months so that our President can be a candidate, it could be November, it could be October. But the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will decide this, and hopefully, the path will be cleared once again in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for our President to be a candidate, and we will make our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan president once again, friends. In other words, there will be no early elections in 2026 or at the beginning of 2027," he said.

Stating that no one should have any concerns regarding the process of a Turkey without terrorism, Yayman said, "This process is a state policy, a nation policy. No step that would disturb the people of Uşak will ever be allowed. This is not a give-and-take process. This is not a process of making concessions. You already see what is happening. Hopefully, on Wednesday, our commission will meet under the chairmanship of Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş, it will present its report, and we will all see together that there are very advanced steps and very advanced messages in that report.

We will never, ever turn back from Turkey's unity, solidarity, and well-being. Therefore, at this point, we will all witness the birth of a new Turkey where 86 million are one and together, where everyone is an equal and first-class citizen, and where we all feel connected to this country as people of shared emotion, shared destiny, shared history, and as citizens. Therefore, please, please, there is no need to fall into anxiety or pessimism regarding this matter. Our nation's support is with us on this, our nation's support is with the People's Alliance. We stand on the right side of history today, just as we did yesterday, and we will continue to stand on the right side of history," he said.
