AKP's Varank shares: There is a problem with Mr. Özel's statements regarding the break

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel spoke about the current agenda at his party's group meeting.

Speaking about the process regarding the arrest of CHP's Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, Özel made the following statements regarding the arrested mayor, who has since been replaced by a government-appointed trustee:

"Ahmet Özer is still in custody. There was an allegation against Serdar Ortaç yesterday; they went to his house at night. They knocked on the door, and when they didn't hear back, they waited for him to wake up. When he woke up and opened the door, they invited him to give a statement. That is the correct way. They broke down Ahmet Özer's door, slammed his wife against the wall, and dragged him out under those conditions as if he were a suicide bomber, discrediting him.

They did not allow a lawyer into the house during the search. They told a bunch of lies with the evidence they supposedly found. They say he spoke with Remzi Kartal on the phone; there is no proof. Even if he did, he was an academic at that time.

If things change based on whether one is an AKP member or not, what kind of legal system is this? What terrorist organization member? We said let us see these PKK members if Ahmet Özer appointed them; they didn't let us in for 12 days.

We finally got in. They said; did you see the trustee? May the devil see his face! They showed the offices of the elected CHP members, pointing them out. They couldn't show a single office for the trustee. An AKP member enters as if they are entering their father's house, but it is forbidden for the CHP. Why? Because they are going to fabricate evidence against Ahmet Özer.

They drop him to Akın as much as possible, and if he doesn't fall, Akın runs there. If a judge is successful, they are not moved from their position. If a judge is unsuccessful, you reassign them. Akın Gürlek is like a ping-pong ball.

He wanders around and destroys things. Now he has come to carry out the operation that will keep Ahmet Özer inside. Instead of Akın's non-relocation compensation, we will cover his relocation geographical compensation by putting his wife in the CMB (SPK). I haven't dealt with his family, and I won't. 'BREAK' REFERENCE FROM VARANK TO ÖZEL

AKP Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank made a noteworthy comment by quoting this statement by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel on his social media account. Making a reference to the period when Özel broke his foot and the statements made at that time, and implying that the statements made were not true, Varank stated that Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer's door was not broken down by the police.

Mustafa Varank used the following words:

Just as it is true that Mr. Özgür Özel broke his foot in his house in Manisa, it is just as true that the police broke the door.
